Morning Sunshine Smoothie

If we could all wake up to breakfast in bed that included a happy, glowing smoothie like this, I think the world may be a brighter place!

 

Not only is this smoothie packed with protein, vitamin C, and anti-inflammatory properties (hello T U R M E R I C !), but it is easy to make for a quick breakfast or afternoon snack. 

Did you know that turmeric, besides being bold in color and taste, is arguably the most powerful herb at fighting and reversing disease on the planet?! Not only does it reduce inflammation, but it increases healing in a variety of ways. Add it to smoothies, soups, bone broth, and more!

Morning Sunshine Smoothie

Serves: 2

 

Ingredients

1 banana (whenever a banana gets overripe on the counter, simply peel it, slice it, and place it in the freezer to use in smoothies or recipes)

1/2 mango, peeled and sliced

1 orange, peeled

3/4 cup milk (raw, almond, cashew, coconut)

1 cup ice

1/2 tsp turmeric

2-3 scoops Marine Collagen  or Collagen Peptides

 

Recipe

Place ingredients in blender and mix.
